Mediacom at Hayes School

On 21st January, during one of our Media lessons, we were visited by some representatives of Mediacom, a Media company specialising in website and logo design. They were designing a website for Safety in London for the metropolitan police. This website is aimed exclusively at young people for any issues they may have. We were tasked with designing a logo for this site that would represent the site and its values. The best logos will be used on the website.
We learned lots of useful skills about logo design, but also about the things you need to consider before finishing a website. In all, it was an enjoyable lesson, a chance to try something new and a change from our usual Media Studies lessons.
