Drama goes German

Last week, a unique project began with one Year 9 German class. Mrs Nunn and I are directing Year 9s to perform a version of the classic fairy tale ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ to a select school audience, in German, assisted by Lauren Sellick who is studying A level German. The aim is to challenge gifted and talented students through the use of Drama, in a very different subject, as well as giving them the opportunity to express themselves creatively. The script has already been translated, rehearsals begin next week and we aim to be ready for the first week after half term. Stay tuned for more on this exciting cross-curricular project.
