Monday 1st February fourteen Year 12 & 13 students will visit Keston Church of England Primary School. They will
be spending the morning with Year 5 working with them on their Victoria topic as part of Hayes Specialist School community work. The pupils will be working in groups with the Hayes students to devise short drama pieces about different aspects of Victorian life. They will be re-creating a scene from school, a street scene with a crossing sweeper and chimney sweep and the story of how Dr Barnado started his work, amongst others. As well as helping the pupils create scripts and act out their scenes, the pupils will also film themselves so they can have a DVD of their work. It promises to be a very exciting day. Look out for the student account of the day in the next newsletter.
