Year 9 Enterprise Day – Dragon’s Pen

Year 9 students really enjoyed a challenging “hands-on” activity morning when, working in teams, they had to come up with new and original ideas which they then had to turn into a product to potentially sell to the public. This was an ideal opportunity for them to get a taste of and learn about business, as well as develop entrepreneurial skills, in a fun and practical environment.

The activity forms part of the Work Related Learning curriculum for Year 9 students and helped the students to develop their teamwork and communication skills. This successful and valuable day, was based on the television programme Dragon’s Den.

Thank you to Miss Harrison and Year 9 Form Tutors for their support during the day.
