8AB Versus Staff in Quiz for Year 8 Charity

Last Wednesday, a team of five 8AB members went head-to-head against a staff team in a quiz to raise money for Year 8’s children’s charityin Haiti.The 8AB members (Charlotte Green, Daniel Biggs, Max Gauntlett, Michael Whittingdon and Kieran O’Brien) did a fantastic job, beating thestaff to the buzzer first on a number of occasions. The Staff team consisting of Mrs Loader, Mr Dodson, Mrs Travers, Mr Mulligan andMiss Allman, made a number of valiant attempts to out-fox the 8AB team. The staff team won in the end, beating 8AB 15-13.A big thank you to Henry Terry, The Quizmaster, who did a superb job of hosting the quiz, scorekeepers Ellie Gentle and Jack Vickery andMiss Lipscombe and Mr Cooper for setting up and organising the event on the day.Also thank you to all of 8AB for all their hard work and especially to those who supported the team on the day.
