New CCTV Cameras Installed

As part of our determination to make Hayes School as safe and secure aspossible for our students, we have recently installed approximately 40 newCCTV cameras around our site. Areas now covered by CCTV include:• all entrances to the site• all entrances to buildings• areas where students meet at breaks and lunchtimes – the field, thestreet, Gadsden lawn, main corridors and the canteen• all corridors in all blocks• the LRC and common room• all toilets (monitoring entrances and sink areas only)• Both receptions in Gadsden• The bikesheds• The PE changing rooms corridorWe are confident that this will result in an even safer site.
